For data management and process optimization, TDM Systems' TDM 4.7 software package offers Tool Lifecycle Management (TLM) functions to reflect the increasingly complex, digital and networked production process. Having focused on data inventory management and provision of simulation-ready 3D data in previous editions, this version of the software is intended to cover the entire production process, from defining the tools to using them in planning to seamlessly transferring them to use in production, says the company. According to the company, the package suits networking needs of international producers, suppliers, partners and customers. To that end, cloud services are being developed to increase Internet access to information at all times, as well as interfaces such as those connecting CAM systems to machine controllers.
