The units can be equipped with steel or aluminum aprons, lamella bellows or flex-protect systems in almost any combination desired, the company says. For example, the X axis can be equipped with aluminum aprons, the Y axis with lamella bellows and the Z axis with traditional telescopic steel covers. Depending on the specifications for speed, acceleration and load, the appropriate driving apparatus is installed for the individual elements (scissors drive, hydraulic system module and so on). The result is a complete subassembly, ready for installation and custom-assembled according to the type and location of installation or customer specifications.
