CNC Software Measures Tools Automatically

Parlec will showcase the new SpeedScan feature for its ParleVision CNC software which enables the automatic measurement of standard tools without any data input and is said to increase efficiency by reducing the risk of operator error. Integrating SpeedScan into existing CNC-operated systems is easy and can be done in less than 15 min., Parlec says.
ParleVision CNC offers total automation, including auto positioning, focusing and indexing. The software features a library of automation routines as well as point-and-click creation of custom automation macros. It is said to increase throughput of tools while ensuring the conformity and repeatability of the measuring and inspection process.
Other products to be displayed include Gerardi Evolution angle heads, Parlec’s precision modular boring system and various high-speed tooling solutions.
