Siemens’ OP 019 CNC operator panel enables design integration into the Sinumerik Operate graphical user interface and Sinumerik840D sl CNC for use on milling, turning, grinding, laser-cutting and other machine tools. The panel is designed to replace existing Sinumerik display panels.
The 19" glass-front touchscreen enables high speed key actuation, while wide LEDs enable the operator to visualize every key actuation, regardless of the angle of vision, the company says. The 1,280 × 1,024-pixel resolution screen displays a high level of detail on digitized drawings, and an integrated key lock helps to safeguard against operating errors. The operator panel provides a basic machine display with three or four channels showing up to 13 axes. Glass contact buttons on the perimeter of the display panel enable reliable functionality, even when the operator is wearing gloves. Parallel display of dual-channel or axis machine data is possible.
