The CMM features a “QuickChange” option that accelerates how fast the machine automatically changes sensors. In addition, it can be equipped with an “AirSaver” option to reduce compressed air consumption by as much as 60 percent, depending on the application.
The company will also highlight its Calypso 2014 software, which offers new commands to shorten the time it takes to create a measurement program. Features include touch-enabled functionality for faster modification of 3D models and measurements, 100-percent measurement run simulation, and a customizable interface.
