Koyo Machinery’s C6060 centerless grinder is designed for workpieces with diameters ranging from 5 to 150 mm and can be equipped with a conventional or cBN grinding wheel. According to the company, a dual-supported high-speed spindle enables longer dress intervals and shorter cycle times. The machine features a low thermal displacement technique designed for improved cold-start performance and high rigidity at grinding position for reduced vibration and improved grinding accuracy. The compact grinder is fully enclosed and is said to provide easy preventative maintenance and quick change-overs.
