Reduced memory usage enhances programming large and complex parts, and ordering is improved to enable faster cycle times on the machine tool. Users can prepare data in the foreground while calculating tool paths in the background. This eliminates calculation waiting time—a benefit most fully realized on multi-core systems, the company says. Calculations can be queued, and the software will automatically begin the next operation once each tool path is generated.
The system’s multi-threading capabilities allow calculations to be divided between the cores in a multi-core machine, minimizing lead times and reducing downtime when machine tools are waiting for NC data.
