CAM Software Version Emphasizes Automation Capabilities

The hyperMILL 2010.1 CAM software edition is the company’s first package designed with 64-bit computing in mind. This version also includes continued emphasis on providing automation capabilities allowing the ability to store proven machining procedures, reuse corporate knowledge, add logic, make powerful programming macros and even drive hyperMILL from external applications using an API interface, the company says.

The hyperMILL 2010.1 CAM software edition is the company’s first package designed with 64-bit computing in mind. This version also includes continued emphasis on providing automation capabilities allowing the ability to store proven machining procedures, reuse corporate knowledge, add logic, make powerful programming macros and even drive hyperMILL from external applications using an API interface, the company says. This software version can be used for 2.5- through 5-axis milling and turning, and is supported by company-developed postprocessors.
