Automated CNC Tool Grinding System
The MX7 CNC tool grinding system was developed for high flexibility and quick change-over to accommodate smaller batch sizes and high volume capability for production houses, the company says.
Also, a permanent-magnet 20-kW (27-hp) (S1) 10,000-rpm spindle that delivers high torque at lower rpm, makes the tool grinding system suited for carbide grinding applications. Because of the lower current draw, the spindle generates less heat and less expansion, resulting in energy-efficient operation and improved accuracy. The integrated pallet loader changes workpiece tools within 10 sec.
