The APSX-Nano CNC Swiss-type lathe is designed to machine aluminum, stainless steel, Grade 2 titanium, bronze, brass and other material with high precision on a desktop. They system comes ready-to-run system with the stand, embedded PC, keyboard, monitor, pendant and an adjustable mist system. It can be powered by a 120V a standard wall outlet with proper grounding.

The lathe features a 31" (D) × 14" (W) machine base footprint. Standard bar diameter is 0.50" and maximum bar diameter is 0.75". Optional 0.75" and 0.25" guide bushings are sold separately. Its maximum bar length to install is 20" with a maximum machinable length of 17". The main servo motor spindle speed is 1800 RPM and power is 300W.

The APSX-Nano comes with six OD tools (12×12mm profile) and five ID tools with ER11 collets. It features three NEMA23 stepper motors with a speed of 90 IPM on X, Y and Z axes and boasts a stepper repeat accuracy at no load of ±0.0002" and achievable machining accuracy of ±0.001" or better.

The company recommends the machine for aerospace, automotive, firearms (small arms and ammunition) and electronics components; medical, dental and orthopedic applications; military vehicles and aviation, among others.
