Leaders-In background

Dynabrade’s air-powered, 100,000-rpm Pencil Grinder is designed for high speed cutting and deburring on a variety of materials. The grinder features an ergonomic, pencil-type shaft for operator comfort and control, the company says. Its stainless steel housing is designed for stability and durability and has a “non-slip” grip. This rear exhaust tool also includes tactile cues on the shaft end to alert the operator to the rotating area. The turbine-driven air tool has no wearable gears, vanes or blades, ensuring long tool life, the company says. Available collet sizes include 1/8", 3/32", 1/16" and 3 mm.

The grinder powers optional carbide burrs and mounted points for precision deburring, engraving, etching, cleaning and more. According to the company, a stainless steel construction makes the grinder useful for medical implants, molds, investment castings, jewelry and automotive and aerospace parts.

The grinder is also available with speeds of 35,000, 50,000 or 60,000 rpm. Permanent-mount stem models are available for use on robotic arms and other permanent-mount machines.
