Brush Research Manufacturing’s Nampower abrasive disc brushes contain a combination of ceramic and silicon carbide filaments designed to increase burr removal rates, improve surface finish and increse brush life. The abrasive disc brushes remove burrs and blend tool marks in punched and fine-blanked components, deburr face-milled surfaces, improve suface finishes and more. Application include finishing cylinder heads, bell housings, pump housings, gears, fine-blanked parts and stamped components.

The brushes are available two styles, dot and turbine. Dot style is designed for general-purpose deburring and surface finishing applications. Recommended for applications in which short cycle times are important, dot-style brushes are flexible and enable easy entry into small holes and spaces, the company says. Turbine style is designed for for medium and heavy deburring applications. The brushes have a high-density fill that is well-suited for short cycle times and increased tool life, the company says. Both styles are available in three different diameters and two trim lengths.
