View MoreThe new iP60-100S waterjet pump from Jet Edge is a single-intensifier version of the company’s existing 100-hp pump. According to the company, eliminating the second intensifier allows it to offer this model at a lower price. The 60,000-psi waterjet produces 2.0 gpm of water for precision waterjet cutting, water blasting, cleaning and surface-prep applications. It supports orifices ranging to 0.021".
The waterjet pump features a tie-rod design, which has no threaded cylinder, no threaded end caps and no threaded hydraulic cylinder—making it less prone to cracking, the company says. Pumps from this company also feature hydraulic accumulators, reducing wear on the hydraulic pump, along with a rugged hydraulic center section that incorporates high-duty-cycle-rated piston seal and wear rings, and free-floating self-aligning plungers that increase seal life.
