Yaskawa Motoman Opens New Facility in Mexico
The Querétaro facility will support training and service efforts support for existing and potential integrators in the region.

Yaskawa America Inc., Motoman Robotics Division, has announced its new facility in Querétaro, Mexico, which officially opened November 1, 2013. The 5,000-square-foot facility will house approximately six employees, with plans to expand, and will serve as a site for sales, training, parts warehousing and robot demonstrations.
"With the recent growth of our customer base in the region, we knew that we needed to expand our support team and have a more local presence," explained Doug Schenher, vice president of the company's Customer Satisfaction Group.
The Querétaro facility is the company's third Mexican location, with additional facilities located in Aguascalientes and Apodaca.
