Yamazen to Host TechExpo ‘14

The company will unveil its new technology center and debut several machines.

Yamazen (Schaumburg, Illinois) will open the doors of its newly renovated Chicago Technical Center October 15-17, 2013, for its TechExpo ’14 event.  Several machines will be debuted at the expo: the Brother M140X1 multitasking machine providing a maximum turning speed of 2,000 rpm for mass-production parts processing; the Takisawa TS-4000YS horizontal turning center featuring a heavy-duty twin spindle, 30-hp main spindle motor and 10-hp milling motor; and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MAF-E series of table-type horizontal boring mills providing 3,000 rpm and a feed rate of 15 m/min. for medium-sized workpiece machining.

The event will featuring additional machine tools from Brother, Matsuura, Mitsubishi, Mitutoyo and Takisawa, as well as facility tours and demonstrations.
