Workholding equipment supplier Kurt Manufacturing Company has formed a national network of authorized vise and workholding repair centers. The company says the network is intended to minimize repair time, reduce transportation costs and keep equipment operating.
Strategically located throughout the United States, the seven service centers are staffed with trained experts who provide service and repair to all of the company’s original equipment, which includes precision manual vises, hydraulic vises and vertical machining vises. The centers also inventory replacement parts for immediate shipment to customers.
Steve Kane, Kurt sales manager, says the company plans to add more service centers soon in locations such as Chicago and Costa Rica.
