bedra-Gisco, Inc. has officially changed its name to bedra Inc. The company was formed in late 2005 as the U.S. subsidiary of Berkenhoff GmbH, a designer and manufacturer of EDM, welding, electronic and anchor wire. Under the corporate trademark “bedra,” Berkenhoff’s wires are produced exclusively in Germany and sold via agencies and distribution companies in more than 80 countries worldwide.
Bruce Benson, bedra’s recently appointed vice president for the Americas, says the name change is intended to promote a single, global brand strategy and will not impact the company’s products.
