WIDIA Offers Free Reconditioning of Solid Carbide Drills

Customers that purchase an eligible WIDIA solid carbide drill from the company’s new Advances or Holemaking catalogs will receive a card entitling them to a free reconditioning from the Latrobe, Pennsylvania-based cutting tool manufacturer.

Customers that purchase an eligible WIDIA solid carbide drill from the company’s new Advances or Holemaking catalogs will receive a card entitling them to a free reconditioning from the Latrobe, Pennsylvania-based cutting tool manufacturer. The free regrind applies to eligible drills purchased before June 30, 2010, and customers have until September 30, 2010 to redeem the cards.

The program covers selected WIDIA, WIDIA-Hanita and WIDIA-Rubig tools as well as Web-based orders. Customers simply send the tool and card to the regrinding facility in their respective region, and the reconditioned tool will be returned free of charge, the company says.
