Widia Products Group (Latrobe, Pennsylvania), unveiled at EMO 2009, recently completed the consolidation of the MetCut and MetalRemoval tool brands, which are now known as Widia-MetCut and Widia-MetalRemoval, respectively.

Widia Products Group (Latrobe, Pennsylvania), unveiled at EMO 2009, recently completed the consolidation of the MetCut and MetalRemoval tool brands, which are now known as Widia-MetCut and Widia-MetalRemoval, respectively. The former brand includes proprietary-geometry spade drills, reamers available with custom cutting profiles, and part contour cutters that meet ISO specifications. The latter includes standard and custom end mills available in dozens of configurations for roughing, finishing and other operations. 
 
The company its multi-year consolidation has resulted in the availability of a complete portfolio of milling, turning, reaming, grooving, precision hole finishing and other solutions from a single source. The group includes metalworking tools and systems from Widia as well as such specialty products as Widia-Manchester, Widia-Clapp-DiCo, Widia-GTD and Widia-Hanita.
