Jet Edge (St. Michael, Minnesota), a manufacturer of industrial waterjet cutting and surface preparation systems, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The company entered the waterjet industry in 1984 as a manufacturer of intensifier pumps for precision and mobile cutting as well as cleaning and surface preparation applications. It began manufacturing waterjet cutting tables in 1998. In 2007, the company says it became one of the first manufacturers to offer a 90,000-psi waterjet pump. The manufacturer’s systems are used in industries including aerospace, defense, automotive, petrochemical, energy and general manufacturing.
