Verisurf Software Inc. Appoints New Director of CMM Business Development

Verisurf Software Inc. names Terry Wear as its director of coordinate measuring machine (CMM) business development in support of the company’s commitment to universal CMM compatibility and process control. Wear is said to have over 45 years of cross-platform CMM, metrology and aerospace experience, including Wenzel, Perceptron, COORD3, Mitutoyo, LK, and IMS.

“Terry is extremely familiar with our software; this combined with his deep knowledge of new and legacy CMM platforms, and reputation for customer service, make him the perfect choice to manage CMM integration for Verisurf. Verisurf has maintained a long-standing commitment to open platform compatibility as it relates to metrology software and hardware. Using Verisurf software, metrology workflows and inspection plans can be created once and used across the manufacturing enterprise on any portable or fixed CMM.
