Methods Machine Tools (Sudbury, Massachusetts) and Matsuura Machinery Corporation have announced the appointment of John Schwartz as product manager in the U.S.A., a newly created position to support increased demand for Matsuura products. Mr. Schwartz has 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and engineering in the manufacturing industry. Prior to his current position, he was vice president of sales and marketing at IEMCA.
In other news, Methods has appointed Toronto, Ontario-based dealer SMS Machine Tools to distribute FANUC Robodrill, Kiwa-Japan and Feeler products in Ontario and Quebec, Canada. SMS’ team will provide full service, support, application engineering and training for all three product lines.
