PDx/amerimold isn’t the only new U.S. trade show coming to Cincinnati, Ohio in May 2010. MM Live USA, which is dedicated to the micro-manufacturing sector, will run alongside PDx/amerimold at the Duke Energy Convention Center from May 11 to 13.

MM Live USA is organized by Rapid News Publications, publisher of “Commercial Micro Manufacturing Magazine.” PDx/amerimold, organized by “Modern Machine Shop” publisher Gardner Publications and partner DEMAT, focuses on product development and mold manufacturing.

Both events trace their roots to similar shows in Europe. MM Live USA has been launched in response to North American demand for an event with similar focus, organization and business opportunities as the MM Live U.K. show, according to Rapid News. Likewise, the focus and format of PDx/amerimold will be similar to that of the annual Euromold trade show run by DEMAT.

“We know from our experiences in the U.K. that MM Live works well alongside product development events, so the next logical step was to locate with a product development show in the U.S.,” says Duncan Wood, group director at Rapid News. “PDx/amerimold is poised to make a big impact next year in the U.S., and positioning MM Live USA alongside it is great for visitors and exhibitors at both shows.”
