Trumpf Announces New President

Trumpf (Farmington, Connecticut) has named Dr. Lars Gruenert the president and CEO of its North American operations. Dr. Gruenert most recently served as the executive vice president of Trumpf Gmbh + Co KG, and CFO of the Laser Technology/Electronics division.

Dr. Gruenert succeeds Rolf Bikert. Mr. Bikert leaves Trumpf to lead Maintecx, an independent fabricating equipment supplier and exclusive distributor of Trumpf fabricating equipment.
