Toyoda Partners with Tungaloy for Learning Seminar
The seminar, which will take place at Toyoda’s Arlington Heights, Illinois, facility, will be about accelerated machining of precipitation hardened stainless steel.
Toyoda Americas has partnered with Tungaloy for its latest lunch-and-learn seminar about accelerated machining of precipitation-hardened stainless steel. The seminar will look at and demonstrate machining of high-temperature materials like 15-5 steel, which must be machined with specific geometry and edge preparation due to its gummy nature and the high heat it generates.
Tungaloy will present its tool technology designed for high-feed milling, shoulder milling, and drilling for these high-temp alloys on Toyoda’s 8,000-rpm FH630SX-I horizontal machining center.
The seminar will take place at Toyoda’s Arlington Heights, Illinois, facility February 22, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
