Tooling Tech Group Appoints New CCO, Announces ITAR Compliance

Amy Stegmuller will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing activities for TTG, including sales team management, market planning and business development.

Tooling Tech Group (TTG) has appointed Amy Stegmuller as its new chief commercial officer (CCO). As CCO, Stegmuller will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing activities for TTG, including sales team management, market planning and business development.

Stegmuller has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing industries and is adept at strategic business development, OEM sales and process improvement. According to the company, she has a passion for creating value for customers and stakeholders and brings multicultural experience and communication skills to TTG.

Most recently, Stegmuller served as vice president of sales at Liebherr Gear and Automation Technologies Inc. in Saline Michigan, focusing on team management and training, sales forecasting and strategy, market analysis and more. She has also served in various roles at Gehring LP, Nachi America and NSK Corporation, where she successfully grew revenue in capital equipment and commodities markets for the businesses.

“We are excited for Amy to join our team and are confident in her ability to diversify our customer base and drive growth,” says Lee Childers, chief executive officer at TTG. “Her experience building and empowering high-performance, collaborative sales teams and executing marketing strategies is sure to make her endeavors successful.”

Stegmuller holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lawrence Technological University.


TTG also recently announced its ITAR compliance across the company’s 12 facilities. This has been accomplished through its company registration with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls of the U.S. State Department, in combination with establishment of compliance programs and training of all applicable personnel in the ITAR control processes at all locations.

TTG has been a long-time supplier to the aerospace and aviation industry. This commitment to ITAR compliance procedures can provide further confidence to its customers and expand the company’s ability to serve the defense market, according to the company.

In addition to ITAR compliance, various TTG facilities hold ISO9001:2015, AS9100, IATF 16949:2016 and DD23454 certifications.
