With more than 1,800 exhibiting companies covering almost 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space, the 29th edition of IMTS—The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012 is on track to rank among the top five largest IMTS events, organizers say. Scheduled for September 10-15 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, the show will host 85,000 to 90,000 manufacturing industry professionals from more than 119 countries who attend to see more than 15,000 new machine tools, controls, computers, software programs, systems and processes.
