Third Wave Systems Receives Contract

The Aviation Applied Technology Directorate (AATD) of the U.S. Army has awarded a contract to Third Wave Systems (Minneapolis, Minnesota) to develop CAE technologies for modeling and predicting distortion. The 12-month initiative will focus on modeling machining effects such as clamping, fixturing and toolpath dependencies. This is Third Wave’s second project on stress and distortion management funded by the AATD.
