Stratasys (Minneapolis, Minnesota; Rehovot, Israel) has acquired Solid Concepts and expects to complete its acquisition of Harvest Technologies by the end of July. Both companies will be combined with RedEye, the company’s existing digital manufacturing service business, to establish one additive manufacturing services business unit. The acquisitions bring a vertical focus on areas such as the medical and aerospace sectors, enabling Stratasys to better meet its customers’ additive manufacturing requirements.
