View MoreThe Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) has announced that registration is now open for the 2024 STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition, May 19-23, at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The STLE community and tribology and lubrication engineering experts will gather for five days of technical training, industry education and business networking at the meeting.
This year, STLE is celebrating 80 years of technical excellence and innovation during the event. The STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition will feature over 500 technical presentations, a trade show with over 100 exhibitors, a commercial marketing forum, 13 industry-specific education courses, discussion panels on technical and market trends and more.
“This year, we’re excited to offer two new panel discussions on topics that are key to the tribology and lubrication engineering community,” says Rebecca Lintow, CAE, STLE executive director. “One panel will highlight various sustainability topics from top industry experts, including standards, regulations, technologies and best practices. The other panel will feature notable women in the lubrication industry and insights about their career paths and experiences.”
Event registration and hotel reservations are now open. STLE members and non-members can save $100 on meeting registration by taking advantage of the early bird rate through March 22, 2024.
Housing accommodations for the STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition include the Hilton Minneapolis (meeting headquarters), the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis. The hotel room reservation deadline is April 15, 2024. Rooms are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, so attendees are encouraged to book their stay as soon as possible.
Tribological advancements can improve productivity, profitability, sustainability and safety across several industries, including manufacturing, metalworking, transportation and power energy.
