Sodick Partners with Hartwig to Deliver EDM, Milling and AM Products and Services

Sodick, a leader in electrical discharge machining (EDM) and emerging technologies, has partnered with Hartwig Inc. to provide its expertise in EDM, high precision milling and additive manufacturing (AM) to an expanded market.

Hartwig is a full-service distributor of industrial machine tools, founded in 1960. “Hartwig has earned an incredible reputation for providing the highest quality machines and parts for a wide market,” says Kevin Yamada, general manager of Hartwig. “We’re excited to reach new markets as we build our relationship.”

Together, Sodick and Hartwig say they will provide customers with a variety of solutions for wire EDM, featuring rigid linear motors for more accurate cutting, as well as sinker and small hole EDMs and high-speed milling. Sodick will also provide Hartwig with its AM equipment for custom 3D parts.
