Sodick (Schaumburg, Illinois) has appointed Kevin Yamada as general manager. For the past 14 years, Mr. Yamada has been with Sodick’s research and development company, Sodick America, where he most recently served as chief financial officer.
In other news, the company has appointed Todd Romeiser regional manager for the Northeast and North-Midwest United States. Mr. Romeiser will manage Sodick’s direct sales and dealer sales representatives in their given territories. Previously he served as managing director and president of a European EDM machine tool builder.
