ShapeGrabber Joins Quality Vision International

Vision metrology company Quality Vision International (Rochester, New York) has acquired ShapeGrabber Inc., a manufacturer of 3D scanners for industrial applications. As a wholly owned subsidiary of QVI, ShapeGrabber is expected to gain access to new markets and customers for its 3D laser scanners. The scanners are said to be particularly effective for measuring and inspecting complex-shaped workpieces.
