Seco Tools’ (Troy, Michigan) upcoming seminar, “Solutions for Machining Materials Common to the Aerospace Industry,” will focus on difficult-to-machine materials, including high-temperature superalloys, titanium-based alloys, stainless steel and composites. The event is scheduled for May 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at machine tool builder Mazak’s North American headquarters and technology center in Florence, Kentucky.
A variety of speakers from both Seco and Mazak will cover topics including high-pressure coolant systems, the use of solid carbide tooling in composites applications and dovetail machining. Registration is available at secotools.com.
