Seco Tools has announced that Tesco Technologies, which it acquired in 2005, has dropped the Tesco identity and wil carry the Seco name to better unite the resources of the company. Tesco was known for its Jabro brand tooling, which is designed for mold and die, medical and aerospace applications. Mike Parker, Seco Tools' director of marketing and product development, says the change provides customers with a "one-stop resource" for their metal cutting needs. The former Tesco Technologies facility in Hayes, Virginia will be reassigned as a Seco sales office, and all former Tesco employees have been retained.
