Sandvik has chosen Langley Alloys as its partner for the distribution of duplex and super duplex stainless steels to the United States, Canada and Mexico. The two companies have been partners in the United Kingdom market since September 2017 and intend to replicate that success in the United States, increasing the market penetration of Sandvik’s alloys.

According to Chris Halliday, president of Langley Alloys, the company will focus on stocking Sanmac 2205, SAF2507, Alloy 32760 and its own super duplex Ferralium 255-SD50, with a strength of 85 ksi. These alloys are said to provide high levels of performance in demanding applications.
