Sandvik Expertise to Aid Training, Technology Efforts

Sandvik Coromant (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) has joined the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), a nonprofit organization in East Hartford, Connecticut that focuses on workforce development and efficiency-boosting initiatives for public and private entities.

Sandvik Coromant (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) has joined the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), a nonprofit organization in East Hartford, Connecticut that focuses on workforce development and efficiency-boosting initiatives for public and private entities. In collaboration with the organization’s Advanced Manufacturing Center, the cutting tool manufacturer will offer technical support and expertise to area manufacturers seeking to solve difficult machining challenges and improve global competitiveness.
 
“Advanced machining solutions require a total systems approach, including programming and tooling, to take full advantage of modern machine capabilities, “says Elliot Ginsberg, president and CEO of CCAT. “Sandvik Coromant brings extensive international expertise to all these areas.”
