To support increased demand for on-site portable machine tools, Climax Portable Machine Tools has opened new rental depots in Houston, Texas; Prairieville, Louisiana; and Cincinnati, Ohio; as well as a new international location in Perth, Australia. The new facilities expand the company’s reach to 11 depots worldwide.
According to the company, renting is a fast, cost-effective way to for customers in the power generation, shipbuilding, heavy construction, mining and other industries to obtain needed machine tools for unexpected repairs or for taking advantage of new business opportunities without making unnecessary capital expenditures. “In most cases, we can ship rental machines to customers within 24 hours from our rental depots,” says Dave Baker, director of worldwide rentals.
