Renishaw Opens Manufacturing Plant to Students

Renishaw hosted 700 students at its manufacturing facility in Miskin, South Wales, for two “Education Days” held in October and November 2012. The events were designed to promote engineering as a career and to dispel negative impressions of the manufacturing and engineering sectors. The visiting students came from 18 schools, six universities and two colleges in South Wales. Students toured the machine shop and viewed a range of Renishaw machines in a temporary exhibition stand.
