Absolute Machine Tools (Lorain, Ohio) has achieved Authorized Integrator status with FANUC Robotics America (Rochester Hills, Michigan). The partnership will enable Absolute to enhance its production-specific machining systems with robots, simulation packages, application software, force sensing and infrared vision systems. According to Absolute, this new capability will help its customers reduce manufacturing costs and become more competitive.
In addition, Absolute has been appointed the exclusive importer for Precihole Machine Tools (Mumbai, India). Along with its distributor network in the United States and Canada, Absolute will sell and service Precihole’s full line of deep-hole drilling machines. Offerings include gundrilling machines, BTA boring and trepanning machines, three-axis drilling machines, and skiving and burnishing machines, among others.
