Omax Boosts Chinese Staff Amid Increased Demand
Waterjet manufacturer Omax Corporation has appointed James Fikse as regional manager for China, a position in which he will use more than 30 years of project management experience to further enhance the company’s market position in that country. Chinese demand for the company’s multi-axis abrasive waterjet systems has increased since it entered that market four years ago, so improving the company’s support network in that country is critical, says Steve Ulmer, vice president of international sales.

Chinese demand for the company’s multi-axis abrasive waterjet systems has increased since it entered that market four years ago, so improving the company’s support network in that country is critical, says Steve Ulmer, vice president of international sales. As a result, the company is adding more employees to its global support team, including Mr. Fikse.
