Chicago-area manufacturers looking to improve productivity are invited to attend “Jobtoberfest,” a free event hosted by Machine tool builder Okuma America Corporation (Charlotte, North Carolina) and distributor Morris Midwest October 24 and 25.
The hosts encourage attendees to bring troublesome parts and machining challenges to the event. In addition to Okuma and Morris application engineers, Partners in THINC members who represent tooling, gaging, software and other accessory suppliers will be on-hand to help solve problems, reduce costs, increase throughput and improve quality.
