Okuma Celebrates 50th Anniversary of OSP CNC

Okuma (Charlotte, N.C.) will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its THINC-OSP CNC at its Technology Showcase event December 10-12. Developed in 1963, OSP stands for “Okuma sampling path,” a reference to creating digital representations of machine tool cutting paths. Technology Showcase attendees will be able to take part in hands-on demonstrations of the THINC-OSP-P300 control featuring enhanced user functionality.
