The organizer of the MM Live USA show, Rapid News Communications, has finalized the program for the Micro Manufacturing Technical Briefing Sessions. Scheduled for May 11-14 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, MM Live is a new trade show dedicated to micro and precision manufacturing.

Each day of the briefing sessions, which are free of charge to attend, will beging with a keynote address from a leading authority in micro manufacturing. Donna Bibber, president/CEO of Micro Engineering Solutions, will kick off the briefings on day 1 with a paper entitled “Micro Devices Made Possible Using Multiple Material and Micro Manufacturing Technologies.” On day 2, Gary Zurek, president of Kern USA, will evaluate the micro milling market. Finally, on day 3, Makuta Technics President Stu Kaplan will provide an overview of the production of micro-molded microfluidic components for the medical industry.

Presentations from various experts will follow the keynotes on each day. Sessions are broken down into specific technology areas, including micro molding, micro inspection and metrology and micro machining. An industry-focused session on micro manufacturing in the medical industry is scheduled for day 3.

The event is co-located with PDx/amerimold, a new trade show focused on product design and development, tooling and mold manufacturing that incorporates the established MoldMaking Expo and Time-Compression Expo.
