Mitsubishi Materials Becomes Tooling Provider for Roush Yates Engines

Mitsubishi Materials (Mooresville, North Carolina) has become the official tooling partner of Roush Yates Engines, which provides Ford Racing engines for NASCAR’s premier racing series. The engine company plans to use Mitsubishi’s tooling capabilities to machine components for the Ford FR9 engine. Motoharu Yamamoto, president and CEO of Mitsubishi Materials, says that the partnership will lead to “the development of new tooling technologies, products and processes used in the manufacturing environment.”
