Alexander Wright and Erik Sweede have joined MC Machinery, Wright as a regional sales regional sales representative for lasers, laser automation equipment and press brakes, and Sweede as the Northeast regional sales manager for EDM and machining.

Based in Kansas City, Wright covers Kansas, Southern Illinois and Missouri. A Kansas native, Wright is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wichita State University, and has been in industrial sales for several years. 

Based in Philadelphia, Sweede covers New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C. and Vermont. Along with more than 15 years of manufacturing sales experience, Sweede has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Toledo, and a master’s degree in metallurgical engineering from Purdue University Northwest.

The company is excited to have these new members of the team on board for future ventures. “Alex’s background in industrial sales is beneficial to our laser and press brake customers,” said MC Machinery North American Sales Manager for Fabrication Shane Herendeen. “Erik’s experience and technical background will be very valuable to our EDM and milling customers in the northeastern U.S.,” said MC Machinery Systems North American EDM/Machining Sales Manager Alan Hallman.
