MC Machinery Announces General Manager Promotions

MC Machinery Systems announces the promotions of Brian Howard to general manager of purchasing/logistics and George Johnson to general manager of the Consumable Products Group. 

Howard joined MC Machinery as a purchasing agent in 1998 after graduating from DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He became purchasing supervisor in 2001, purchasing manager in 2006 and senior purchasing manager in 2016. In his new position, Howard manages a staff of 22 and his responsibilities include international supply chain management, compliance, inventory management and more. 

Johnson joined MC Machinery in 1999 as a sales support representative. The following year he joined the EDM Consumables Group as a Midwest regional sales manager and in 2004 and he was promoted to national sales manager. In 2010, the EDM Consumables Group evolved into the Consumable Products Group (CPG) when laser consumables were added. Johnson now oversees a staff of 10 and a national dealer network.
