Manufacturing Apps for Android
In a new partnership with Samsung Electronics Co., Indiana Technology and Manufacturing Companies (ITAMCO) has developed a range of manufacturing apps for Samsung’s Android mobile devices. These include the MTConnect Client App, which enables monitoring machines and controls, as well as apps for converting between various material hardness scales, converting different pitch gear sizes, and calculating the weights of different types of metals in various shapes. Based in Plymouth, Indiana, ITAMCO is a tier one supplier of precision machined components and gearing for industries including renewable energy, mining, off-highway construction equipment, oil and gas, and defense.
