Makino Establishes Titanium R&D Center

Makino has designated its Mason, Ohio, facility as its Global Titanium Research and development center, where a group of engineers will further the development of titanium milling technologies. The facility will include machine tools and CMM equipment and be staffed by specialized titanium machining and tooling experts. The R&D center’s mission is to provide manufacturers with titanium application expertise to improve metal removal rates and extend tool life in titanium milling.
