Machine tool builder MAG IAS (Erlanger, Kentucky) has been named a partner in MIT’s Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) engineering and management program.
The company joins Boeing, Caterpillar, United Technologies and 20 other partner organizations in MIT LGO, a dual-degree graduate program in engineering and management. The program equips students with a Master’s of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master of Science from one of seven programs within the MIT School of Engineering.
As a partner company, MAG gains access to MIT faculty and research as well as best practices of other partner companies and the potential for joint operations projects. Partner companies host in-depth site visits and 6-month student internships with support from MIT faculty. Partner companies also provide input into the program’s curriculum and activities.
